North Carolina was first in flight, started a national sit-in movement and built some of the largest financial institutions in the world.  We know how to do great things.  That’s why I believe we can build a state full of opportunity that works for all North Carolina families.  That’s why I am working to support a vibrant and inclusive economy, invest in our public schools and protect our constitutional rights from partisan attacks.  Your opportunity in life should not be determined by the circumstances of your birth or by the partisan leaning of your legislature.   I am running for re-election to work for North Carolina families and help leave a legacy of opportunity for our children.  But I need your help.
